Comments from critics of the Vermont Renaissance Festival costumes:

BEST COSTUMES/WARDROBE – VTRF. I’m a costume geek, and I admire the attention to detail that goes into the gorgeous Elizabethan costuming at VT. I haven’t been to another faire that had so many women in corsets, farthingales and bum rolls, or so many men in French slops and tights. All of the peasant women have their heads covered. The Queen’s guards all had matching uniforms, which made it easy to pick them out. I like to give credit to any faire that makes the extra effort towards historical accuracy.

BEST COSTUMES/WARDROBE: VTRF... their costuming is stunning!!!

BEST COSTUMES/WARDROBE- VTRF hands down- attention to detail was absolutely amazing

BEST COSTUMES/WARDROBE: VTRF. Nothing beats a faire full of codpieces.
